CJCT has recently completed 10 Wellington Place, the first building of a new mixed-use 1.3Msqft urban district in the heart of Leeds.

Developed for MEPC, not only the project provides a highly-efficient, flexible and low energy workplace, it also delivers a landmark multi-let office building, designed to become a quality benchmark for the future buildings within the Wellington Place masterplan, thus enabling the entire development to stand out against the competition.

First building in Leeds to achieve a BREAM Excellent (2011) rating win an A EPC certification, delivered on budget to demanding timescales dictated by the limitation of the economic environment and fully let within 7 months of practical completion, 10 Wellington Place now acts as a small but significant catalyst for the regeneration of a major area within the City’s commercial district: from critical brown-field site, it aims to develop into “location of choice” to grow business, inviting end-users to become part of a larger business community.

While the overall experience of the building, in its new setting, provides positive impact on its immediate and local context, the dynamic shell’s geometry, with its 4000sqm of office and commercial space dislocated across four storeys, creates a memorable, eye-catching form and at the same time offers the occupiers a comfortable, flexible and enjoyable open-plan workplace.
