Haskell Acquires FreemanWhite
Haskell announced today that it has completed the acquisition of FreemanWhite, a Charlotte-based consulting and design practice focused exclusively on the healthcare sector.
The acquisition brings together two companies widely recognized for their strategic vision and entrepreneurial approach to healthcare capital projects. A major outgrowth of the partnership is a 360-degree service offering that fully aligns healthcare business strategy, operational performance, planning, design, engineering, construction and post occupancy evaluation across the care continuum.
"The healthcare industry is experiencing a seismic shift, and providers are being challenged to deliver accountability across the continuum of care,” said Jim Eaton, Vice President of Healthcare at Haskell. “Our alignment with FreemanWhite is a groundbreaking move in the market to create a full service offering that will be an industry leader in providing innovative solutions through a highly integrated service model.”
FreemanWhite, which will continue to do business under its current name and brand, is an industry pioneer dedicated exclusively to healthcare.
“Haskell and FreemanWhite have joined forces to create the most fully integrated service platform in healthcare,” said Franklin Brooks, Managing Principal and CEO of FreemanWhite. “As healthcare providers enter into the new reality of integrated care delivery, our merger produces a robust and seamless service line.”
“This new partnership is another demonstration of the Haskell commitment to fully aligning with our clients’ industries and business models, which is where the real strategic value lies,” said Steve Halverson, CEO of Haskell. “As we did with successful acquisitions in other market sectors, FreemanWhite will allow us to leverage a multi-disciplinary approach and grow our ability to be a trusted strategic partner for our healthcare clients.”
The new partnership will expand Haskell’s geographic presence by adding FreemanWhite offices in Charlotte, Chicago, Nashville, and San Diego to its list of corporate locations, which currently include its headquarters in Jacksonville and offices in Akron; Atlanta; Austin; Dallas; Beloit, WI; Columbus, OH; Livermore, CA; and Mexico City.
