JMS Hosts Launch of B+H Designed Al Nadha District

The first mixed-use development in Sharja’s Al Nadha district is open for business. On February 25, JMS Property Development and Management hosted the official sales launch of the Al Rayyan apartment complex at an event attended by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, who blessed the project and bought the first unit sold.

Designed by B+H, this project is comprised of three towers. A retail mall will occupy the lower levels; two of the towers will act as residential spaces; the third will be a commercial tower with hotel-serviced apartments occupying the top 12 floors for visiting business people.

Construction Week Online reports that Randa Kamal, CEO of JMS Property Development & Management, said: “The Al Rayyan development contains many firsts for Sharjah. Mixed-use developments have coupled the residential offering with retail and leisure facilities, or with commercial space, but this is the first to combine all three lifestyle elements of living, leisure, and work.”

The apartment launch was attended by senior staff from B+H’s Dubai office, along with Senior Principal Tonu Altosaar visiting from North America to deliver an address to His Highness and the other guests. Altosaar addressed the shared vision of B+H and JMS:

 In Al Rayyan, we tried to balance creativity and responsibility. We tried to create a communal living space through the orientation and siting of the towers. Fortunately, we had an experienced and intelligent client who shared this vision. Any successful project is a collaboration between the client and the design team.
