Louis Berger wins five-year contract to provide services at two U.S. air bases in South Korea
Louis Berger will be providing air terminal and ground handling services at Kunsan Air base and Gimhae Republic of Korea air base in South Korea under a five-year contract with the United States Transportation Command.
“Louis Berger’s global expertise will help ensure excellent and reliable service support for the Kunsan and Gimhae Republic of Korea air bases,” said Andrew V. Bailey, president of Louis Berger’s Services operation. “We have a long history of strong partnerships in South Korea and we are honored to support the U.S. Department of Defense and the Republic of Korea as we continue to grow our presence in the region.”
Kunsan Air Base, located on the west coast of the South Korean peninsula, is a major U.S. Air Force installation in the country operated by the United States Forces Korea. Gimhae Air Base, which is adjacent to Gimhae International Airport, is a Republic of Korea Air Force base supported by the U.S. Air Force.
Louis Berger has worked in South Korea for more than 20 years and has had a sustained presence in Asia since the company’s first international assignment in 1959.
